Finally recovered. Its the 1st time i had been so sick. 4 days' MC. OMG. Terrible. Fever high til 39.9 Celsius. But luckily, i'm recovering already.

Been working morning lately. Very sleepy. No time to blog more abt chalet! Will do so asap!

Jus a quick update!

Went with emi to Qian Hu for Fish Spa yesterday! THE FISHES ARE BIG! SO SCARY! LOL!
Then went to prawn fishing with Colleen and Stephanie. NO LUCK. SIAN.

Dinner at Thomson and APPLE STRUDEL as dessert! I LOVE APPLE STRUDEL! YUMMY YUMMY! =)

And we spotted a young BOY driving a MAZDA CONVERTIBLE! I WANNA MEET THE MAZDA CONVERTIBLE BOY!!

Okay, more to update. I WANNA SLEEP ALREADYYY. NIGHT! LOVE..

SAWADEE-KAA! I’M BACK FROM BANGKOK!! =)

4D3N IS DEFINITELY NOT ENOUGH TO COVER BANGKOK!!! Okay, cut short the story! Let me bring you explore Amazing Thailand tgt!!!

Day 1 (11 Jul 2009, Saturday)

Met 2 hrs before departure with the girls at airport for check in for our flt to Bangkok (BKK), SQ976. And straight head in to transit as Colleen wanna go shop inside. DFS is colleen’s heaven! LOL!

Went for quick lunch as huiying and colleen hafen taken anything since morning. Had laksa and curry chicken rice as lunch. Sat down, relaxed, chit-chat and its time to head for departure! Gate, E12! ALL E WAY IN!

But before that, free foot massage for Huiying and Colleen while me and shufen cam-whored! =)

Boarded the airplane via the PRIORITY LANE! Fellow colleague gave us the privilege! =) Feel damn shiok and class! HAHA!

Reserved ourselves the two seaters at the back of the aircraft. =) BUT UNFORUNATELY, our in-flight entertainment was not working and so we swopped to sit in front.

And shortly… BYE BYE SINGAPORE!

UP UP UP THE SKY!!!

I always love the moment of aircraft taking off. I jus love the sprint and gradually, high high up the sky we go! =)

CHECK OUT THE SKY VIEW! THE CLOUDS ARE LIKE BIG LUMP OF COTTON! SO BEAUTIFUL! I feel like jumping out and sleep on them for they seem to be so comfortable ~~

Watched 17 Again onboard. ZAC EFRON IS SO CUTE! Awwww…

MEAL TIME! All of us took Pan Fried Fish with Potato! YUMMY YUMMY! Tiramisu ice cream as dessert. *burps* LOL!

Stomach satisfied, back to movie..

“Congratulations, Ms Low. Happy birthday!”

*Acts shocked* “Oh, thank you!"

HAHA! I ordered a birthday cake for myself! LOL! Everyone had been saying the cake is nice so I ordered one for myself. LOL! The packaging is so nice.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, we are approaching Bangkok in approximately 10mins. The temperature on ground is…..” WOAH! We are approaching BANGKOK!!

Smooth landing.. SAWADEE-KAA! WELCOME TO BANGKOK!!!

Cleared out immigration asap and waited for our luggage. I FORGOT TO PUT PRIORITY! Waited quite a while though.

1^st encounter at airport – BARGAINING FOR TAXI!! They wanted 600 BHAT! The dishonest cab driver. TERRIBLE. We rejected and hopped onto one cab with a HONEST-LOOKING cab driver and managed to board at 300bhat! =)

JAM WAS BAD.

After abt 40mins, we finally reached HOLIDAY INN, BANGKOK!

And off we go to SUAM LUM NIGHT MARKET!

The moment Colleen stepped out of the cab, she vomited cuz she was having a bad headache. And she vomited again in front of one of the embassy. We were all laughing at her saying that she had to vomit once wherever she goes. LOL!

The place is pretty nice to shop. A lot of nice things!! But the hotel told us the price is slightly higher and since we going Chaptuchap market the next day, we shall just see see. =) SO TIRED FROM ALL THE WALKINGGGG!!

And our saver drink, cha-yen with pearls! SUPER YUMMY! SHIOKKKK..

*Growl growl* Stomach rumbling! Settled at a stall with a lot of ppl. Food pretty good. =)

Moved on with a filled stomach! Shopped ard and get some small things. =) And we decided to go back to hotel for rest for tml! TUK TUK home!

60 bhat! DEAL! WE LOVE TUK TUK! EXCITING AND FUN!!

The tuk tuk driver who tried to kiss Colleen! LOL!

And we got ourselves drink from 7-11 and road side BBQ wings as supper! =) *YUMMY*

Day 2 (12Jul 2009, Sunday)

Woke up early for our long anticipated weekend market, Chaptuchak!

Went over to the 4-faced Buddha to pray for safety and blessing. =)

Looked around for breakfast!

Thai-style beehoon soup and kway teow soup! And yummy wanton mee!

AGAIN, tuk tuk to Chaptuchap! We simply love Tuk tuk!

SHOPPING TIME!! =)

Shopped alley by alley. Lots of shop you can ever imagine! SUPER DUPER BIG!

And once again, TIRED from the walking and heat! Settled at a cute little café for some drinks to hydrate ourselves. =) Yummy blended lychee juice!

And we decided to go over to the pet section to look at ‘xiao peng you’. SO CUTE!!

Headed back to hotel to put our stuffs and its DINNER TIME! Went to Central World for Jap Food!

Settled at a Jap restaurant called KUU. SUPER YUMMY TONKATSU!! I love jap food!!

Decided to head down to Chinatown! TUK TUK AGAIN!

BARGAIN AND GOT ONE AT 30 baht! The driver offered to bring us for massage. And we went. The rate was 2hr for 700 baht! EX! Declined and wanted to just go to Chinatown. In the end, he got it for us at 500bhat. 2 hrs = approx. SGD 21. Reasonable.

MASSAGE TIME!

Great but painful two hours of massage. LOL! Muscles loosen, ready to hit Chinatown, Yaowarat Road! =)

Bright and colourful lights, neon boards, Chinese characters. Chinatown is so beautiful!

And of course we gotta try what everyone will try in Chinatown!

SHARK FIN AND BIRD NEST!!

Not bad. Not very fantastic but what do you expect out of 100bhat bird nest n 300 baht shark fin? LOL!

BUT, something GREAT make up for all that. HANDSOME THAI BOY!

Prince of shark fin! LOL! SO CUTE! And he speaks TEOCHEW and ENGLISH! Awwww… so friendly summore! And he’s 25!!! Haha. I wanna marry a thai boy! (cheyyy..) LOL!!

He sat down and chit chatted with us a while. So funny for that broken teochew. LOL!

FORGOTTEN to take pic with him. (-_-“|) BUT I GOT GLIMPSE OF HIM IN ONE PIC! Awww. My ‘yu zhi wang zi’! LOL!

And we decided to leave him for DRINKING! LOL! Khao San Rd, as recommended, backpackers’ heaven! =) ~~Bye bye my prince!~~

Tuk tuk to Khao San Rd for 50 baht! Khao San Rd is a super hip place full of ang mohs, music, beer and nightlife!

Got ourselves 6 bottles of Chang Beer, vodka shots and redbull and settled at a roadside pub.

People watch, ‘gan bei-ing’, moving to the rhythm of house music and getting high. Nightlife at BKK, AWESOME!!! <3

And we headed back hotel happy and high! And of course, we all hit our bed fast and quick.

Day 3 (13 Jul 2009, Monday)

Rise and Shine! Colleen and Huiying slept in late cuz they were too drunk the day before. LOL. Wash up and out we go again!

Went out to look for breakfast! Wanted to go to Big C but the food court is not yet open. Stopped over at a money changer for Colleen to change money.

Got some snacks, fried chicken bites and this yummy fried bread thingy. YUMMY!

Pass by a interesting board which read : Marriage for alien. LOL! E.T.

Went over to Platinum Food Court for breakfast. SUMPTOUS BREAKFAST!

We got ourselves – Tom Yum Koong, Fried Mama Noodles, Chicken Rice, Phat Thai, Quail Eggs with toppings, Cha-yen, Crepe with Brownie and Ice Cream, Coconut Sago and BIRD NEST. =)

*All-time favouriteeee!*

And all above for less than SGD20! =) FULL TO THE MAX. SHIOKKK.

AND ONCE AGAIN… SHOPPING TIME!!

Platinum is SO BIG! Just a floor of accessories got us shopping like mad. From level 6 all the way down and we almost spend all our money! LOL! We literally shopped til drop til the extent every single we go in, we will find chair and sit down while the other check out the clothes. LOL!

Tired yet happy, we decided to go back to hotel to rest our feet and drop our shopping bags! Wanted to take cab/tuk tuk of a dist like from Far East to Cineleisure but yet everyone want to charge us at least 100 baht! NOT WORTH! And so, we decided to be strong and WALKED back with bags and bags of shopping deals! LOL!

All for the sake of saving 100 Baht! LOL! =)

And we did thai massage for each other! LOL! Lots of laughter and screaming throughout. LOL!

After the ‘SHIOK’ massage, we headed to Central World for NARAYA! A MUST BUY IN BANGKOK!!!

Naraya is like BKK’s LV. LOL! Its super crowded and everyone shopped like its free! LOL! And so did we! LOL! EVERYTHING IS SO NICE IN NARAYA! Makes me wanna buy everything! Awwww…. And eventually I spent about 800 plus baht there! LOL! Huiying spent 1000 plus baht! LOL!

Went to Zen (something like Isetan) and got stuffs for my colleague.

And we took all time fav – Jumping shots! =)

Went to MBK, a shop called Thai Food, to grab local delights for home! Grabbed lots of food cuz they keep saying this is nice, that is nice. LOL! And ended buying 1000plus bhat worth of local products. With bags and bags of barang barang, we went to this thai restaurant (I FORGET THE NAME!) at Siam Square to treat ourselves to a good Thai meal.

Food's here!

Food not really fantastic, portion not as filling and expensive, but at least environment was good. And we were really too tired to change place. LOL! 8 dishes with 2 desserts – total bill 1634 BHAT which is equal to SGD80 over bucks! NO CHOICE, we are TOURISTS. LOL! But the mango with sticky rice was really fabulous! SUPER DUPER JUICY MANGO! *yummy yummy*

With limited money left, we could only ration our money. We decided to go back to Suan Lum Night Market to buy some more stuffs. =) 60 baht! =)

Reached Suan Lum and met the same tuk tuk driver who drove us the very first day when we went Suan Lum. And this time, he said he will send us back at 30 baht! LOL! DEAL and off we go and shop! =)

With only 1000bhat left in hand, we bought 7 hair clips and 3 tops! LOL! POWER le! The art of bargaining!

With less than 300 bhat left, we decided to head home. And on the very same tuk tuk and driver who took us the first day ANDDD at the price of 30 baht!

We got him to help us carry some stuffs ard his handle cuz we got far too much things to squeeze on a tuk tuk. LOL. And he drove us off at high speed. Excitement, speed and fun laughter filled way back hotel! All I can say is we really love TUK TUK in Thailand that we even asked Concierge if we could take TUK TUK to airport! LOL! Of course, the answer was NO! LOL!

He even gave us his name card, Mr Roon. Look for him ard Suan Lum if you visit BKK. He’s very nice! =) BARGAIN! LOL!

Shufen and Colleen did mask in the room while we were discussing the last day plan. We decided to splurge on breakfast at Intercontinental for the price of 530 Baht. We thought we had no money left as we all set aside 1000 baht for room but room was actually ard 2000plus baht per person! LOL! We dunno why but we just harmoniously set aside 1000baht to

We kept joking til the two girls, who was not supposed to smile nor laugh, had to laugh silently for fear of more wrinkles! LOL! And we managed to picture Shufen in 30 years' time! HAHAHA!

Day 4 (14 Jul 2009, Tuesday)

Woke up real early at 7am for our breakfast at Intercontinental. VERY GOOD SPREAD! LOVELY! Almost everyone inside was in business suits as there was a conference mtg. All those normally dressed were spread among the business men n women. LOL! Camouflage! LOL!

Sumptuous breakfast! I LOVE IT! =) We ate for near 2 hours. I LOVE THE WAFFLE AND BUBBLEGUM DONUT! Haha! YUMMY YUMMY!

Went back hotel, washed up and packed up! SOB SOB! 4D3N at BKK is over sooonnnn!

Got ourselves a cab, bid farewell to the friendly hotel staff and off we head to airport..

On the cab, the radio was playing ‘Poker Face’ and we started dancing and moving to the rhythm of the music as we approached the airport.

Fold em' let em' hit me raise it baby stay with me (I love it) ......."

Headed over to row K and checked in for our departure, SQ975. D2, 1300hrs. Shopped ard in BKK DFS, nothing much. *bleah*

And Colleen gave me a shock while we were making our way to the gate. She switched her watch time over to SIN time and she thought it was 1315, BKK time already! I GOT A SHOCK CUZ OUR DEP WAS 1300! And then she realized it was SIN 1315, BKK 1215. ~SHOCKED~

But nevertheless, we decided to make our way to the gate just in case we REALLY miss the flight. LOL!

“Thank you for waiting Ladies and Gentlemen. Flight SQ975 from Bangkok to Singapore is ready for boarding….”

Awww. Time to leave! Boarded, settled down and soon I could feel the aircraft moving back.

BYE BYE BANGKOK! BYE BYE MY CUTE THAI BOY!! *sob sob*

Watched “家有喜事 2009” onboard. Watched it in canto. Had a great time laughing.

Had grilled chicken with fried rice. YUMMY YUMMY!

Colleen was fully engrossed in her game. LOL! Check out her expression. LOL!

“Ladies and Gentlemen, we are approaching Singapore Changi Airport in approximately 15mins. The ground temp is currently 29 degree Celsius and the weather is expected to be cloudy….”

HELLO SINGAPORE! LALALA! WE ARE BACK HOME HOME HOME! Landed at Gate F31. =) Cleared immigration and headed for arrival. Shufen got for her friends wine and liquor and we took one last GP.

And with that, we parted ways and ended the lovely 4D3N BKK Trip.

(Lets plan the next one! LANGKAWI! And rmbr, one yr time before we go back BKK so I can get MORE things and slimmer to meet my prince of shark fin! LOL! LOVE LOVE!
