06:30 AM - Terminal 1, Check in at row 8 for Flight CX710 to HKG!

DSA Lim Jiahui was late to meet us for check in! Penalty - BREAKFAST ON HER!
08:30 AM - Terminal 1, Flight CX710 at gate D42 departing to HKG!
11:50AM - Hong Kong International Airport. LANDED IN HKG!!
While disembarking..
On the way of the Airport Transfer to our hotel, DORSETT SEAVIEW!
1st Stop : Mido Cafe
Went to settle our hungry stomach! A very authentic hong kong feel 茶餐厅. Had our first taste of HKG food. YUMMY YUMMY!

2nd Stop : Wong Tai Sin TempleWent to get our Octopus Card at the MTR station and took the MTR to Wong Tai Sin Temple.
Prayed and moved on with our journey.

3rd Stop : Victoria Harbour (Avenue of Stars) Took the MTR to Central and walked to Avenue of Stars.
Had fun acting around with the film statues. Met Bruce Lee. LOL.
Went there for shopping and emi got her 1st overpriced item in her life : Longchamp tote. TAI TAI le EMI!
5th Stop : Symphony of Lights along Victoria Harbour
Walked back to the viewing deck along Victoria Harbour for its famous Symphony of Lights.
19:55 PM - Announcement was made that the show will be cancelled due to the typhoon. Typhoon Signal 3 was up for that day. SAD! SHOW CANCELLED!!
Nevertheless, we took pics with the nice and beautiful night scenery of Victoria Harbour. Very beautiful.
6th Stop : Star Ferry to Hong Kong Island
Met up with Jingmin's HKG friend, Sally and she brought us to take the Star Ferry to cross over to Hong Kong Island.
7th Stop : Lan Kwai Fong, Central Mid-Levels Escalator
Walked and walked to Lan Kwai Fong. Its like Holland V except its much STEEPER. The whole place is on a steep slope.
Took the famous super long Mid-Levels Escalator.
8th Stop : Dinner at Roadside Stall
Our stomach was already growling by this time and we found a roadside stall in one of the alleys and settled our dinner there. Food was yummy too! Hkg is simply a food paradise. Everywhere, anywhere, food is yummy.
AND, here comes the GREAT news of the day. The weather station in HKG has raised a typhoon alert of signal 8 to warn the public that there will be a typhoon coming in and it will be til the level of 8 (out of 10). GOD!
AND SOOOO, we had no choice but to quickly hurried back to hotel in case the typhoon comes.
9th Stop : 7-Eleven
We had to go and buy cup noodles to stock in our room in case the typhoon remains in hkg, which means we will be grounded in our hotel if it remains as signal 8 for the day after or so. NOOOoooo!!
10th Stop : 许留山 Hui Lau Shan
Went to the 许留山 opposite our hotel for dessert since the typhoon is not here yet. HAHA. 许留
山 is totally DELICIOUS! The mango is so fresh and SWEET! YUMMY YUMMY!
While enjoying our dessert, one of the waitress told the supervisor in cantonese that at 2300 hrs the typhoon is expected to come at signal 8 and so the auntie was telling them and us to faster pack up and leave as the typhoon is expected to come soon. ARGH siannn.
11th Stop : HOTEL ROOM
After we bathe, it started to rain and wind started to get stronger. And hourly news broadcast confirmed that typhoon had came into HKG at the signal of 8! SAD!
WELL, as the typhoon came, we went to sleep and decided to plan our itinerary tml morning depending on the weather.
25th June 2008 (Wednesday)
08:30 AM : Weather Check. Typhoon Signal : 8.
10:00 AM : Weather Check. Typhoon Signal : 8.
Breakfast in my room. Choya, Krispy Kremes and cup noodles. I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts!
11:00 AM : Weather Check. WHEEEE! Typhoon is expected to leave and by 11:15am, the weather station has changed typhoon signal to 3!! YEAHHH! TIME TO HIT THE STREETS!
We went out to the streets as quadruplets that day! 08 shirt, havaianas..
1st Stop : Tai Ping Koon Restaurant
A Hong Kong style Western Cuisine Restaurant. Decor was super retro. I feel like i have entered the time machine and walked into a western restaurant in the early days of Hong Kong.
Shrimp Spaghetti, Swiss Sauce Chicken Wings, Roast Pigeon and Souffle..

Their souffle is the biggest i had ever tasted in my life. SERIOUSLY BIG.
2nd Stop : Dinball at Kwun Tong
Went with Jiahui to Kwun Tong to help her brother get some stuffs. And there, we experienced the power of the typhoon strong winds. We were literally pushed and walking against the wind. Umbrella flew up. We had fun though breaking through the wind. LOL.
3rd Stop : Goldfish Market
Headed down to Mongkok for shopping. Went to the goldfish market and understand why its named so. Every shop along that street sells fishes, especially goldfish. LOL.
4th Stop : Mongkok 新之城
Shopping shopping!! Had great time shopping in this building. =)
And here, we found our no.1 loved food in HKG. 百味! Its something like cold noodles mixed with any ingredients you choose from the menu with some special sauce and ta dang, here you go, a bag of mixed noodles! YUMMY! I and jiahui had 2 packets! YUMMY YUMMMY! MUST TRY!
5th Stop : Ladies Street
Headed for more shopping at Ladies Street. Had fun bargainin and eventually we made friends with one of the stall lady boss. LOL.
6th Stop : Hotel Room
And with our quadruplets outfit, CAM-WHORING time! We had fun cam-whoring with Yakult..
and had fun playing with our BIG poker cards!
