27th June 2008 (Friday)
Back from Macau to Hong Kong.
Goodbye grand Venetian, hello small but cosy Dorsett Seaview.Missed the earlier ferry due the concierge at Venetian couldnt find our luggages. Too big a hotel thats y. Lol.
Got back our luggages finally and
BYE BYE MACAU!

1st Stop : Dorsett Seaview HotelBack to our small hotel in Hong Kong. Took a cab from the ferry terminal. Oh god, the cab fare was SCARY.
For a journey less than 20mins, the cab fare was almost SGD30 dollars! The meter jus jumped n jumped.
Every time it beeps n jumps, our hearts follow. OH GOD, this is the most expensive taxi i have ever hopped on. No cheating, its jus simply cuz we dunno the way. TERRIBLE.
Checked in.
Changed and out we go! 2nd Stop : Mido Cafe330pm. Settled our growling stomach. We have been starving since we checked out from Venetian. HOURS.
Bo Lo Bun, Beef Horfun, Soup Noodles, Grilled Pork Chop Rice. YUMMY!!
3rd Stop : Central
Took train to Central in order to get to the Lower Peak Terminus to get to the Peak. Central is indeed beautiful. Tall buildings, CBD district. Just like Shenton Way.

4th Stop : Bank of ChinaWent up to the 47th floor at Bank of China for viewing. Beautiful. Victoria Harbour against nice tall buildings. I love it. I bet everyone who works at this kind of level will sure love their job.

5th Stop : Lower Peak Tram Terminus

Got our tickets for Madame Tussauds and the Peak Tram and joined the queue to conquer the PEAK!
6th Stop : On the Peak TramI only have one word for the engineers of the tram. AMAZING. I dun understand and am totally amazed and how the tram works. Its like 45 degrees slanted working on cables bringing you up to the peak which is so high up. GOD. AMAZING. View up was great. It was like sittin on a slow roller coaster. LOL.
7th Stop : Madame TussaudsFinally, Madame Tussauds. We had a great time entertaining lots of stars there. And before that, we had a taste of what ppl meant by paparazzi.
Jay Chou, Lee Kuan Yew, Bush, Paris Hilton, etc etc. We had fun socialising with them.

Here, we made our very own ZXB tee shirt. ZXB, Hong Kong. Uniquely ZXB.

View of the peak at night was great. And we took the cable tram for one stop jus to feel how it was like. LOL. A little more shopping at Mongkok ends our day. =)
I'm loving Hong Kong!
what we could have been, 5:05 AM.
